Bright HealthCare Leaving the Illinois Market in 2023

Insurance carrier Bright HealthCare has announced they will be leaving the Illinois market next year.

We are bummed that Bright HealthCare is not able to maintain a presence here in Illinois. This again shows the power of BCBS to maintain their monopoly and that other carriers are not able to compete and handle the claims. All Bright HealthCare claims and service will be as normal for the remainder of this year; however, if you currently have a Bright HealthCare plan you will need to make a move for January 2023 to BCBS or another carrier in the market.
